Another Killarney success for Al Gasparo

No way back for jockey Jack Kennedy and his mount Speculatrix as they crash out at the final flight when leading the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Maiden Hurdle at Killarney on Sunday. Thankfully both were fine afterwards. Picture: Healy Racing

A wide-margin winner of his maiden hurdle over course and distance in May, the Gavin Cromwell-trained Al Gasparo again proved his liking for Killarney when making all to take the Panoramic At Killarney Racecourse Rated Novice Hurdle on the opening day of the Kerry track’s October meeting.

Ridden by Keith Donoghue, the five-year-old again made all, jumped well, and stayed on to beat Lieber Nicc by two lengths.
