On his first visit to Punchestown, Ryan Moore conjured a late surge from Genealogy to foil market rival and favourite Storm Piece in the William Hill Betting Done Properly 2-Y-0 Maiden.

Aidan O’Brien’s stable jockey, out of luck on 8-11 shot Mint Candy in the opener, looked destined for third spot at the furlong-pole as Storm Piece mastered Starry Desert.
