A step into group company at the Irish Champions Festival might be on the cards for Loch Tay following his convincing victory in the Irish EBF Median Sires Series 2-Y-0 Maiden in Roscommon.

Trained by Jessica Harrington for her daughter and assistant Kate, the Bated Breath colt, reappearing 78 days after making a promising debut at Gowran Park, tracked Raven Darkholme, quickened into the lead early in the straight and stayed on to beat Majestic Wave by four and a half lengths.
