Meetings in Killarney and Kilbeggan make for a busy evening’s racing entertainment and of all the runners in the 15 races, the Willie Mullins-trained Tounsivator, who contests the Follow Kilbeggan On Instagram Novice Hurdle, makes most appeal.
The five-year-old, who has decent form on the level, has a Naas maiden hurdle victory to his name and on his recent return from a break he ran a fine race to push Volantis to a short head in what was a competitive handicap at the Galway festival. For that effort, he has been put up another 5lbs, to a mark of 134, and running to that level ought to be more than enough this time.
