A great week for popular trainer Eoin McCarthy got even better when Moyvilla Lass took the Kerry Drain Services Handicap Hurdle, the fourth race on Thursday’s National Hunt card in Killarney.

The Athea handler saddled a winner on Monday in Downpatrick, he and his wife, Saoirse, welcomed their third daughter into the world on Wednesday, and completed the hat-trick with this success. The six-year-old mare was making it lucky outing number 13 when moving clear late on to win readily under Gary Noonan.
