Foley impresses on Mo Ghille Mar at Killarney

Elsewhere on the card, Nelda was a 4-9 chance to make a winning stable debut for Paddy Twomey in the Executive Helicopters Maiden and did so with the minimum of fuss

Tuesday evening’s most valuable race was the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies’ & Mares’ Handicap and Shane Foley made it all his own with a well-judged front-running ride aboard the Jessica Harrington-trained Mo Ghille Mar.

On the good-to-firm ground, only four stood their ground, and this filly was second-outsider, at 5-1. From the outset, she set a good tempo, but Foley began to get to work on her half a mile from home.
