YESTERDAY’S Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby success for Los Angeles was sweet 16 for the remarkable Aidan O’Brien, and two for winning jockey Ryan Moore.

Was it the performance of Galileo, Dylan Thomas, Camelot, Australia or Auguste Rodin? Perhaps not, but neither was it a Sovereign nor a Serpentine. If this was a
vintage display, it was so from the rider and the trainer.
