An interesting evening in Naas for Dermot Weld as he reintroduces two potentially high-class Moyglare Stud-owned fillies, one in the Listed Al Shira’aa Racing Irish EBF Naas Oaks Trial and the other in a maiden.

The filly in question in the feature race is Elizabeth Jane, who ran out a most impressive winner on her only start at two. That was in October, on heavy ground at Leopardstown, and she powered clear in the closing stages to win by four and a quarter-lengths.
