The remarkable Easy Game registered his 19th career success and brought his record in Listowel to five wins from six visits when winning the John J Galvin Chase for the third successive year.

Ridden by Paul Townend, the 10-year-old closed in on front-running stable-companion Saint Sam turning for home, challenged up the inner, edged ahead at the second last, and drew away to triumph by five lengths.
