Ruby Walsh: Irish 2,000 Guineas set for export

IN COMMAND: State Actor, right, and Danny Sheehy win the QuinnBet Emerald Mile Handicap at the Curragh last night. See report on Page 20.
One hundred and seven horses will stroll into the Curragh Racecourse stable yard at some point this morning to take up temporary lodgings as they wait for their race time and a shot at glory on Irish 2,000 Guineas Day.
That's factually incorrect, as two of the eight running in the feature will have been there overnight, along with the six other British-trained runners who make up a raiding party of eight, descending on the Curragh, spread through three of the eight races.
