Joseph O’Brien admits to being quite light on top-class three-year-olds but that is not the case with the older and younger brigades, and he remains hopeful there is plenty more to come from stable star Al Riffa.

The son of Wootton Bassett won the National Stakes on his third start at two and finished runner-up on both outings at three, on the second occasion running the unbeaten French Derby and Arc winner Ace Impact to three parts of a length.
