Placed in Group 1 company at two and dropping in both distance and class, on drying ground, the Aidan O’Brien-trained Cherry Blossom oozed class when making all to land the listed Goffs Irish ERBF Polonia Stakes.

Ridden by Wayne Lordan, the 5-1 favourite, a daughter of No Nay Never, showed tremendous pace all the way, was clear with a furlong and a half to race and, despite idling, won readily by a length and a half from She’s Quality.
