After two days stuck at home buried in the action from the Cotswolds, it is time for fresh air, light, the sight of other human beings, coffee and possibly even conversation. Serendipitously my friend Ms Murray calls and, intrepid souls that we are, we embark on a field trip.

Ms Murray hasn’t been in a bookies since she was a little girl with her dad. Her memories are vague but not favourable. She appears interested in discovering if things have changed.
