Fergal O’Brien breakthrough day?

Fergal O’Brien has yet to train a Cheltenham festival winner but then he has never brought two horses with the class and potential of Crambo and Dysart Enos. O’Brien (50) was born in Limerick but identifies strongly as a Tipperary man, telling the Irish Examiner that “I’m from Ballina, not Killaloe, a Tipp man through and through.” Thirty years plus plying his trade in England and he has yet shed a smidgeon of his native accent.
