There are two graded races on Saturday’s Red Mills card in Gowran Park but the nap comes in one of the supporting races, the Gowran Park Golf Club Beginners’ Chase, which can go the way of the Willie Mullins-trained Spanish Harlem.
While he has something to find with Saint Felicien on their recent clash over course and distance, there was plenty of encouragement to be taken from the selection’s effort and he can improve enough to reverse the form. On that occasion, he was settled back in the field as his stablemate and winner, Tactical Move, made most of the running, closely followed by Saint Felicien.
