Henry de Bromhead won the Grade Two William Hill Boyne Hurdle for the first time as Robcour’s Hiddenvalley Lake justified 3-1 favouritism in Sunday’s twin-feature in Navan.

Confidently handled by Darragh O’Keeffe, the seven-year-old asserted between the last two flights to beat long-time leader Beacon Edge by more than three lengths, with Da Capo Glory third and Galvin an eye-catching fourth.
