Lark In The Mornin can book Cheltenham ticket
LEADING THE WAY: Successful under Jody Townend at Gowran Park last month, Captain Cody can give her brother Paul a winner on his first ride since standing down from his final rides at the Dublin Racing Festival. Picture: Seb Daly/Sportsfile
Two decent meetings for the weekend, starting with a Saturday card in Naas where Lark In The Mornin can get punters off to the perfect start by taking the A.M. Transport Supporting Kill GAA Rated Hurdle.
A race for four-year-olds, it has a strong recent record for producing the winner of the juvenile handicap at the Cheltenham Festival and, to improve his chance of getting into that race, the selection needs to come out on top here.
