Reigning champion Paul Townend reduced Jack Kennedy’s lead in the title race to 12 thanks to a double on French imports Anotherway and Billericay Dickie in Monday’s novice hurdle action in Punchestown.

A half-brother to Cheltenham Festival winner Concertista, 8-15 favourite Anotherway stepped up on his stable debut effort at Leopardstown over Christmas to take the Get Best Odds Guaranteed At Bet Victor Maiden Hurdle in emphatic style, beating Catena Zapata by 12 lengths.
