Making a quick reappearance after a win over a mile and a half on Friday and 2lb well-in under a mandatory penalty, the Mark Fahey-trained Old Peculier followed up and completed a polytrack hat-trick when landing the one-mile Book Online At DundalkStadium.com Apprentice Handicap in great style.
Ridden by 7lb claimer Keithen Kennedy, the 10-11 favourite followed his tried and trusted route to the stands rail early in the straight and, in control with a furlong and a half to race, powered home four and a half lengths clear of Ha Long Bay.
