Arguably the country’s two best racecourses, Fairyhouse and Punchestown provide the weekend action, with the Co Meath venue welcoming Saturday’s competitors and the Kildare course opening its doors for the next two days.

In the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Rated Novice Chase at Fairyhouse, Neveradullmoment has a gilt-edged opportunity to make his first mark over fences. Last time out, Philip Dempsey’s horse finished a close third behind Willywampus and Battle Of Ridgeway, but the extra three furlongs of this race should prompt further improvement and he can take this at the expense of Wellington Hill and Hands Of Gold.
