Fellow jockeys, trainers, and the wider horse racing community have been paying tribute to Pat Smullen after he died, aged 43, following a long illness.

Dermot Weld highlighted Smullen’s loyalty and integrity in paying tribute to the man who was his stable jockey for the best part of 20 years.
