Troytown delight for Noel Meade
Tout Est Permis captured the €100,000 Ladbrokes Troytown Handicap Chase for local trainer Noel Meade, stable-jockey Sean Flanagan, and Gigginstown House Stud in Navan yesterday.
The progressive five-year-old, formerly trained by Mouse Morris and successful on his first start for Meade in Galway, mastered 50-1 shot Mr Diablo between the last two fences and forged clear to triumph by four and a quarter lengths, giving Gigginstown their third win in this Navan feature and providing Meade with his first success in the race since Heist back in 1997.
