Jockey Conor Smith hospitalised after road traffic accident

Jockey Conor Smith has been hospitalised with a "fracture to his lower back" after he was involved in a road traffic accident on Sunday morning.

Smith, who is attached to Philip Hobbs' yard in Somerset, will undergo further tests at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, the Injured Jockeys Fund said.
