Dermot Weld is double-handed in the Etihad Airways Irish 1,000 Guineas at the Curragh on Sunday as he attempts to add a Classic success to his blistering start to the season.

Weld has been firing in the winners in Ireland so far this campaign and boasts a 40% strike-rate at present.
