Green light for Taunton

This afternoon's meeting at Taunton goes ahead after the track passed a morning inspection.

Officials were concerned by the prospect of heavy rain and while eight millimetres fell overnight, the course is reported to be raceable.

The track tweeted: "We have passed our morning inspection, 8mm rain overnight. Going heavy with a further 2mm of rain predicted to the end of racing."
