Ayr meet abandoned
Tomorrow's racing at Ayr has been abandoned as the course was still waterlogged in places following an inspection today.
There was further rain at the Scottish venue on Tuesday morning after 10 millimetres had fallen the previous 24 hours.
With more rain on the horizon, officials had no option but to call off the Flat fixture.
"The track remains waterlogged in places. We've had another 1.5mm of rain this morning," said clerk of the course Emma Marley.
"There's been no improvement and we are still forecast more rain through the day tomorrow, so we've pulled the plug."
