Wetherby gets go-ahead

This afternoon’s meeting at Wetherby will go ahead as planned after the track passed a morning inspection.

Officials were due to check conditions at 8am but have been able to give the green light slightly earlier than planned.

The track tweeted: ``Racing goes ahead today. no snow overnight and no frost. snow flurries forecast just hoping it stays away. Going soft, heavy in places.''
