Paddy Brennan will miss the entire Grand National meeting after being handed a nine-day ban at Cheltenham.

The rider was found guilty of misusing his whip aboard runner-up Captain Sunshine in the Pertemps Final.

The stewards banned him for March 28, 30 and 31 as well April 1-6 which encompasses the whole Aintree meeting.

He was also fined £350.
