Ayr inspect

Thursday’s meeting at Ayr is subject to a 1.30pm inspection today.

Clerk of the course Emma Marley reports the track to be frozen in places and admits that even if the track passes today’s check, another inspection will be necessary on raceday morning.

She tweeted: “Soft (frozen in places) @ayrracecourse inspection 1pm today. If passed we will inspect again tomorrow due to sub-zero temps forecast o’night.”
