Hamilton check again

Hamilton will stage a further precautionary inspection at 11.45am after passing an initial morning check.

Clerk of the course Hazel Peplinski assessed conditions at 7am and found the track to be raceable.

However, more rain is expected this morning and with the ground already reported to be heavy, Peplinski will check the track again.

She tweeted: “Passed inspectionHamiltonParkRC after 1mm of rain. Further precautionary inspection at 11.45am. Forecast a max of 5mm rain today.”
