O'Connor comes from nowhere to make final

Cian O'Connor has qualified for the final round of the individual show jumping final on his horse Blue Loyd.

O'Connor produced a fault-free round in under the time allowed and finished on a share of the lead with five other riders, including Nick Skelton of Great Britain on Big Star.

The Meath rider was only included in today's final after the withdrawal of the Swedish entry.

The second round starts just before 3pm this afternoon.
