Go-ahead for Doncaster

This afternoon’s meeting at Doncaster goes ahead after the track passed a 12 noon inspection.

The South Yorkshire venue has seen plenty of rain this morning but clerk of the course Jon Pullin reports the track to be raceable.

He said: “Racing goes ahead. We’ve had 21 millimetres since 7am but the track has taken the rain well.

“We are soft, heavy in places.”
