Hexham gets go-ahead

This afternoon’s meeting at Hexham is set to go ahead after the track passed an 8am inspection.

Clerk of the course James Armstrong reports the track to be raceable but will be closely monitoring the weather over the coming hours.

“Racing goes ahead for the time being,” he said. “We are just keeping an eye on conditions. The ground is very heavy but it is dry at the moment. We are keeping watching brief on the weather.”
