Windsor racing abandoned due to heavy rain

This evening’s meeting at Windsor has been abandoned following a 7.15am inspection.

Clerk of the course Jon Pullin checked conditions after areas of the track became waterlogged following heavy rain on Sunday.

“Unfortunately we have had to abandon,” he said.

“We have had 19 millimetres of rain in the last 24 hours and whilst we have a reasonable forecast for today, there are a few patches of unstable ground that will not improve in time for racing.”
