Depot checks in at Limerick

Frisco Depot confirmed the promise of his last run when landing the Hugh McMahon Memorial Novice Chase at Limerick.

Dessie Hughes’ eight-year-old had chased home the very smart Flemenstar last time out and was always going well for Brian Cooper.

The front-running Your Busy was still in front at the last but Frisco Depot (15-8) ran out a three and a half length winner.

“He had a good run last time and prefers that better ground,” said Hughes.

“Bryan keeps his mounts very collected and I’m lucky to have him. He could go to Punchestown for a novice handicap next.”
