Invictus ruled out of RSA Chase
Invictus has been ruled out of the RSA Chase at Cheltenham next week following a late setback.
Trainer Alan King revealed on Thursday that the six-year-old, winner of the Reynoldstown Chase at Ascot, was a doubt for Wednesday's Grade One contest.
Despite hoping for a swift recovery, King has now abandoned plans to run, and Invictus could now head off on his summer break.
"He won't make next week. I'm not sure about the rest of the season but I've got half a mind to put him away," said King.
