Frost hits Wincanton meeting

This afternoon’s meeting at Wincanton has been abandoned due to a frozen track.

Clerk of the course Barry Johnson held an initial inspection on Wednesday and was due to check the course again at 9am.

However, after temperatures dipped well below freezing overnight, he made an earlier call and the meeting has been abandoned.
