Wincanton to check again
Wincanton will hold a further inspection at 9am tomorrow ahead of their afternoon meeting.
Clerk of the course Barry Johnson checked conditions at 1pm today and found the track to be fit for racing.
However, frost is forecast again overnight and Johnson admits much will depend on the accuracy of the outlook.
He said: "It's raceable at 1pm today, the sun is out and it's warming up quite nicely. The track was raceable at 1pm yesterday but the question is whether it will be tomorrow.
"If we get minus 2C or -3C overnight we would have a chance.
"The forecast is for -5C overnight but we were predicted that last night and it only got down to -3C, so we will have a look in the morning to give it every chance."
