Hold On Julio out of Sky Bet Chase

Ante-post favourite Hold On Julio has been ruled out of the Sky Bet Chase at Doncaster tomorrow.

The talented nine-year-old is reportedly off colour, and has already been declared a non-runner by trainer Alan King.

Hold On Julio is unbeaten over fences, and was most impressive when streaking nine lengths clear earlier this month at Sandown.

King said: ``I just wasn't very happy with him when he breezed this morning, and when we had a look at him we spotted that he had a bit of a dirty nose.

“I had a word with the owners and we thought it best to give it a miss as you can’t win any race, let alone one as competitive as that, without being 100% fit.

“It’s unfortunate, but we’ll have to give it a miss.

“I don’t where his next race will be as it has only just happened, we’ll just have to see.

“I’ve got no plans at present.”
