Thornton steps up recovery
Robert Thornton stepped up his recovery from a broken arm this morning when coming through a schooling session unscathed.
Thornton required major surgery after a fall at Hereford in December, and was told to expect to be out for three months.
He is booked in to see a specialist in the first week of February, but has this week been back on the gallops at his boss Alan King’s Barbury Castle stables.
Thornton tweeted: “First morning schooling. Gave Invictus and Godsmejudge a pop! Both in good form and the arm felt good too.”
