Haydock call early check

Haydock have called a precautionary inspection ahead of tomorrow's meeting.

Clerk of the course Kirkland Tellwright will check conditions at 8am as plenty of rain is forecast over the next 24 hours.

“It’s raceable at present. We had nine millimetres last night and up to 10mm is forecast today so we thought it prudent to call an inspection,” he said.

“We would be hopeful but 10mm or more of rain would be a close call.”
