Musselburgh inspect

Tomorrow's meeting at Musselburgh is subject to a precautionary 7am inspection on raceday morning.

Although overnight temperatures are not due to drop below freezing, officials at the Scottish venue are taking no chances.

The going is currently good to soft, good in places.

Musselburgh general manager Bill Farnsworth said: ``We should be OK.

“It is forecast to get to around zero during the night, then plus 4C on Tuesday.

“We’ve called a precautionary inspection, just in case it gets to minus 1C.

“But if the forecast is right, we should have no problems.”
