Octet named for Drinmore on Sunday

First Lieutenant and Last Instalment are two of the headline names in an eight-strong entry for Sunday’s Bar One Racing Drinmore Novice Chase at Fairyhouse.

Mouse Morris has kept things relatively low-key with First Lieutenant so far, but two Grade Three victories in three starts over fences have now prompted him to raise his sights.

Last Instalment struck in Grade Two company at Punchestown last time and Philip Fenton is now stepping him up to the highest level.

Paul Nolan has two contenders in Alpha Ridge and Shinrock Paddy, while Tony Martin is another who is double-handed at present with Gift Of Dgab and Bog Warrior.

Dessie Hughes’ Rivage D’Or and Oliver Brady’s Imperial Shabra are the other two possibles.
