Grands Crus could strut his stuff next in the Feltham Chase at Kempton on December 26 after taking his 100% record over fences to two at Newbury on Thursday.

The three-mile Grade One novice event is a possible for the former classy staying hurdler after adding to his previous success over fences at Cheltenham two weeks earlier.

Trainer David Pipe will chat with the owners before confirming plans for the six-year-old grey.

“He’s come out of the race fine. It was a good round of jumping and he battled on well up the run in,” said the Nicholashayne handler.

“He may go to the Feltham. We’ll see how he is, we’ll have a chat with the owners and he may go for that.”
