Ayr to inspect tomorrow morning
Tomorrow's Flat meeting at Ayr is subject to a 7am precautionary inspection on raceday morning.
Officials at the Scottish venue must assess conditions due to an overnight forecast of up to 10 millimetres of rain.
The going is currently soft, heavy in places.
Clerk of the course Emma Marley said: ``We've had over eight inches of rain in October, which is 3.5ins above average.
“The ground is saturated, and the forecast is for significant overnight rainfall, which would suggest we have to be prudent.
“That said, we are very raceable at present, with a dry day forecast.
“I’d expect the situation to improve this afternoon.”
