Dunlop outlines Snow Fairy options
Ed Dunlop has drawn up a shortlist of jockeys to ride Snow Fairy in the Markel Insurance Nassau Stakes at Goodwood on Saturday.
Ryan Moore guided the four-year-old to her four Group One victories in 2010 but was unavailable when she made her seasonal reappearance in the Coral-Eclipse.
Johnny Murtagh partnered her to a creditable fourth behind So You Think and Dunlop is expecting a big improvement this weekend.
The trainer hopes Moore will be back in the saddle but if he is unable to take the mount once again, Frankie Dettori and William Buick are waiting in the wings for the excellent ride.
âWe think she has improved enormously since the Eclipse. She blew for 45 minutes after the race and got very tired, which we expected,â Dunlop told Racing UK.
âRyan Moore rode her work this morning and she worked fantastically well. Weâre very, very pleased with her.
âWe have an A plan, a B plan and a C plan and weâre waiting to see what everyone else does.
âWeâre covered on the jockey front but at the moment we donât know who it will be.
âIt will be Ryan Moore, or it will be Frankie Dettori or it will be William Buick.â
