Elyaadi set for Silver service
Elyaadi could seek compensation at York next month following a fine effort in defeat at Royal Ascot.
Trainer John Queally is eyeing the John Smith’s Silver Cup on July 9 for the six-year-old mare, who finished second in the Queen Alexandra Stakes on Saturday.
“She ran well and has come out of her race in good shape,” said the County Waterford handler.
“We might look at York in about two weeks’ time.
“There’s a race over a mile and three-quarters so we’ll make an entry in that.”
