Teddy Grimthorpe has dismissed suggestions Timepiece will be deployed as a pacemaker when she faces stablemate Midday in the totesport.com Middleton Stakes at York tomorrow.

Midday chased home Sariska in the 10-furlong Group Two 12 months ago, a run which kickstarted a campaign that saw her clinch three Group One prizes and finish a narrow second in the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf.
