Henry Cecil's World Domination has long been talked up as a potential Derby contender and there was certainly much encouragement to be taken from his impressive racecourse debut at Newbury recently.

Carlton House, trained by Sir Michael Stoute for the Queen, also won a Newbury maiden back in October and, like World Domination, is prominent in ante-post lists for the Investec Derby at Epsom in June.

Mahmood Al Zarooni has enjoyed a spectacular start to the season and he has a major contender in Genius Beast, winner of the Sandown Classic Trial.

Aidan O'Brien has four entries in Alexander Pope, Exodus, Roderic O'Connor and Seville.

Ashva, Happy Today, Pisco Sour and Yaseer complete the possibles.

Godolphin racing manager Simon Crisford confirmed a tilt at the Dante Stakes is a possible objective for Genius Beast, although he has an alternative in France.

"Genius Beast is the only one we have left in the Dante," said Crisford.

"He'll either run there or in the Prix Hocquart in France on the Sunday."
