Championship-chasing jockey Paul Townend looks like missing the last few days of the Irish jumps season due to the recurrence of a collarbone injury.

Townend, who led Davy Russell 80 to 75 at start of play on Wednesday, was back in the wars in a fall from Mr Thriller in the Growise Champion Novice Chase on the opening card of the Punchestown Festival on Tuesday.
